Today (26/05/2023) I received a letter from AustralianSuper Pty, a reply from a complaint I lodged with AFCA regarding their incomptence. 
Basically they said they have done nothing wrong and their process of withdrawing money is efficent. 

They are delisional !

The Pros

From my experience the only pro with Australian Super Pty Ltd is the return on investment. 

Everything else is a con. 

The Cons

Where do we start... ? There are so many cons with Australian Super Pty Ltd 

  • Worst Call Centre we have ever dealt with, rather deal with Centrelink!
  • Inability to talk to anyone outside the Call Centre
  • Supervisors lie constantly
  • Call Back's Promised but no returned calls
  • No Communication from anyone
  • Withdrawals taking excess of 30 days
  • Outsoursing administration to "Links Group"
  • Breaches of legislation 

 The above cons are just the tip of the iceberg with Australian Super

Vote Of No Confidence - Australian Super Pty Ltd Board

With all that is going on at Australian Super Pty Ltd do we as members of Australian Super Pty Ltd have the legal right to put a vote of no confidence on the board to have them thrown out and have a new board who will fix all the current issues within Australian Super Pty Ltd? 

That is a good question, but I do not have the answer, well not yet. I am investigating: 

1. Is it possible?
2. If we can how do we do it. 

Something needs to be done to fix all the internal issues. 

What issue?

  1. Withdrawal Process taking upwards of 45 days due to staff incompitence
  2. Call Centre Officers who can not answer general questions
  3. Breach of Privacy ACT
  4. Breach of Internal Core Values
  5. No communication to members
  6. No returned calls to anyone
  7. No reply to emails unless you openly complain through Social Media
  8. Negative member surveys rejected
  9. Outsourcing to Link Group
  10. Confusing SMS/Texts to members
  11. Unable to talk to a Team Leader/Supervisor
  12. Unable to talk to anyone in authority

The above are just a few issues, we can go on and on with issues. 

We again extend an open invitation to Australian Super Pty Ltd to respond to any of our claims with a reason why all the issues.   

Australian Super Pty Ltd extends contract with The Link Group
Below is an extract from a news article published on 19th Dec 2022

In a statement, AustralianSuper said that the contract extension would ensure business continuity while it undertakes a tender process with a select group of service providers relating to the fund’s super administration and member services going forward. Link’s partnership with AustralianSuper originally commenced in 2014 and the current contract between the pair was entered into in June 2019 with a four-year initial term.

According to the chief executive officer of Link Group’s Retirement & Superannuation Solutions division, Dee McGrath, the two-year extension will allow the organisations to continue to deliver excellent outcomes for AustralianSuper members and employers.

From our experience and hundreds of other members the member experience is pathetic and non existent.
