The Box That We All Live In?

It seems that Australian Super Pty Ltd assume we all live in the same box.
Do we all live in the same box? No we don't.
Everyone lives a different life and does things differently.

To be asked to supply a Selfie with a clear image of your drivers license to process a withdrawal? WHAT!

  1. Not everyone has a phone that can take a selfie
  2. Not everyone has a license, eg. a person on a pension who no longer drives
  3. SA, NSW, and QLD all have digital licenses, inability to take a selfie, not physically possible due to app security features.

I was advised by 28 Call Centre Officers that the only way my withdrawal would be processed is if I provided the above and would not listen to me about the above, I fit into one of the above limitations. Call Centre Staff flatly refused to transfer me to anyone higher, Supervisor or Team Leader and hung up on me.

They did not offer any other solution to the problem I was up against.

I had to offer a solution to a Supervisor after 34 calls to get to talk to a Supervisor.

Why did I not accept a Call Back Option?

That is a very good question... I did not accept a call back because:

  1. Very rare to get a call back
  2. If they do call you you get asked to ID youself, How do you know that they are from Australian Super Pty Ltd. Withh all the scammers around I DO NOT ID myself to anyone. Yes I may be overdoing the NO ID over phone to anyone but if you have had your ID stolen twice you would be as careful as me.

It is not my post but shows I am not the only one who does not live in the same box that Australian Super Pty Ltd think we all live in. Posted on 17th May 2023
